Field trip to the hedgerows
Gathering sketches and tiny cuttings from the tangled lanes near Zennor.
Every March I take a sketchbook and wander the lanes near Zennor. The hedgerows are still resting, but there are mossy greens and wiry silhouettes everywhere. These walks feed the linework prints—capturing movement without fuss.
I brought back a pocket full of textures: gorse bark, lichen, and a handful of dried seed heads. They’re sitting on the workbench, waiting to be translated into the next print run.
